Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course

Minocqua Winter Park, in coordination with the Northwoods Land Trust and the Town of Minocqua, is proud to announce the newest addition to the park's summer recreation opportunities: The Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course!

Update 3/25/2024- Course is OPEN for the season! All 36 baskets are out on the course and are ready to play. Please note that course construction projects are still taking place around the tee pads and fairways.

Permanent Tee Pad signs and Par information coming soon. Pars are listed on the UDisc app

Course Description

Our goal is to make Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course a premier destination course, complimenting several other remarkable courses in the area. The 18-hole course features both short and long basket positions for each hole. Play your way along the ski trails through beautiful pine and hardwood forests. You'll emerge onto the old alpine ski hill, where you can take a moment at the top of Squirrel Hill under the historic Fire Tower to enjoy a tremendous view.

Minocqua Winter Park is located at 7543 Squirrel Hill Rd / Minocqua, WI
Parking is located at the lot outside the main gate near the information kiosk
Hole 1 is located near the back of the parking area - look for the directional signs

1. Squirrel Hill Flex Tournament Hole Sponsorship

This is a great opportunity to advertise your business or show your support of the Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course and Minocqua Winter Park! Your donation will help fund our grand opening tournament and support course and park maintenance and improvements. Sponsors will be given a temporary sign at each tee pad area which will be displayed during the tournament weekend.

Hole Sponsorships are $30 with a total of 36 spots available at a first come first served basis. Deadline to sponsor is Thursday, May 9th.

2. Disc Golf Course Bench Sponsorship

Help us reach our goal to construct and install Leopold style benches at all 18 tee pads on the disc golf course. Since the course is located in a multi-use area, this will benefit all park visitors and provide a spot for groups to rest, for spectators to view the action, and for folks to take in the scenic beauty of the course.

Bench sponsorships are $250. All sponsors receive a 8"x3" plaque to be mounted on the backrest of the bench. A great way to advertise your business or show your support of the Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course.

3. Volunteer Opportunities

Help us out at one of our course construction volunteer workdays. Tasks include brush hauling, raking, brush cutting, limbing, weed whacking etc.

Help us celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course! This is a fundraiser tournament meaning that all proceeds will go directly back to fund course improvements and maintenance. Click here for more information!

A $5 daily donation is suggested to play the course. Look for the QR code at the disc golf information kiosk to make online payments. Donation box coming soon!
There is no water on site.
Pack all trash out
Seasonal Porta Pottie available at the parking area
Leashed dogs are allowed. Please pick up after your pets.
