Minocqua Winter Park Celebrates 45th Anniversary This December!

Help us celebrate this milestone by joining us for a day of fun at the park on Saturday, December 14th 2024! Bring back the vibe of 1979 with retro costumes and ski gear. We're also celebrating the grand opening of the new addition to the Minocqua Winter Park Ski Shop! 

The trails and chalet will open at 9am with indoor activities and food available from 12pm-4pm.

Outdoor activities include:

• "Glide Through Time" interactive winter park trivia stations on the Bunny Loop ski route
• Base Loop Trivial Pursuit - Self-guided Winter Park trivia challenge 

Indoor activities include:

• Winter Park & 1979 themed trivia 
• Food and Beverages
• Reminisce and share memories
• Grand Opening of the Ski Shop Addition

Minocqua Winter Park has such a rich history in the Lakeland community. After laying dormant following the closure of the Squirrel Hill downhill ski area, Minocqua Winter Park opened it's doors back up to the public as a nordic ski center in December 1979.
