Gearing Up For A Busy Week of Holiday Happenings!

Park Updates

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

As we head into our holiday week, we have some important park updates to share with you!

Currently, walking and biking are allowed on the ski trail system. But we are excited to announce the return of the Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course. For a limited time only (until winter decides to cooperate) a nine hole disc golf course starting from the Chalet will be available daily from 10-4pm. Beginner tee off spots are marked for a short family friendly course. Don’t have discs? Pick up a free “borrow bag” from the chalet that contains everything you need to play the course.

We are now encouraging suggested donations to use the trail system and disc golf course until we have the amount of snow needed to start grooming the ski trails.  Find the QR codes at all of our trailheads to pay online, donate in person at the Chalet, or click on the link here

The Chalet front desk will be staffed daily from 10am-2pm (closed X-Mas day) for you to purchase memberships, gift cards, stickers, and more. The Ski Shop will also be open daily from 12pm-4pm.

The Cookie Loop cookies have arrived! Thank you to Save More Marketplace for once again donating the cookies for this fun trail challenge. Pick up your punch cards at the chalet front desk.

Trail activities will be running throughout the week: roast marshmallows at the Nature Shelter, Storywalk on Popple Loop, Scavenger hunt at Wolf's Den Shelter, Bunny Loop trail activity.

Chef Gabe at MWP is happy to offer this Gala NYE menu for the diehard fans of snow and cold. Bring your best snow dance! As a Smorgasbord in Wisconsin, Gabe thought it appropriate to intermingle some Scandinavian & Wisconsin classics. We hope you enjoy the evening. There will be nonalcoholic refreshments for sale at the Café.

The Bottled Bean will be serving delicious mulled wine and rich homemade hot chocolate with or without alcohol.

$20/person plate to defer the cost of the offerings. If you would like to contribute additionally, please feel free to.
